Egged to introduce the Rav-Kav card

Egged to introduce the Rav-Kav card and invites its passengers to benefit from it.

Starting from May 25, the residents of Rehovot can ride all urban bus routes using the Rav-Kav card.

The Rav- Kav card, electronic reloadable smart ticket for continuous usage, bears a photograph and name of its owner, is intended to replace all the different types of public transportation tickets and cards. The Rav-Kav can be charged with due account of any discounts that its owner is entitled to.

 
The Rav - Kav can be issued at the corresponding service stand at the Central Bus Station from Sunday to Thursday (07:00 -19:00) and on Fridays from 07:00 to 13:00. The passenger should produce filled in application form (can be downloaded here), a photograph, ID card and a discount certificate, if available (e.g. that of a senior citizen, student).
In order to provide you a better and more efficient customer service, we recommend you to arrive at the service stand with all necessary documents along with a filled in application form.

Upon issuing, the Rav - Kav can be recharged on board quickly and easily with the amount corresponding to the price of the free passage monthly ticket card (Khofshi Khodshi) bearing code 71 or regular passage card (kartisiya) bearing code 1.

In addition, an “anonymous” Rav - Kav card without a picture of the owner can be purchased from a driver for NIS 10 and then can be charged with the price of a regular ticket card (kartisiya) bearing code 1

Rav - Kav cards issued by other companies are valid on all Egged urban routes in Rehovot. 


In case of loss, theft or damage, fill in the application form and submit it, along with the ID card and discount certificate (if available), to the Rav - Kav service stand. Your details will be entered into our database and transferred to the Public Appeals Department whereupon a new card will be issued. 

In Case of: Procedure Fee
Loss/Theft  Following your application, the refund amount will be examined by the corresponding Egged department  NIS 10
Damage Following your application, the refund amount will be examined by the corresponding Egged department  NIS 10
Unreadability    Following your application, the refund amount will be examined by the corresponding Egged department  Free of charge
Blurry or Unclear  Photograph Following your application, the refund amount will be examined by the corresponding Egged department  Free of charge
Change of Personal Details/New Photograph  Will be entered into Egged database NIS 10
Applying for/Change of Discount Certificate   All nessesary changes will be entered into Egged database Free of charge
In case it is impossible to achieve NIS 10
