Changes and improvements in North public transportation array are about to start tomorrow, Monday, 01/09/2014. These changes were developed through a collaboration between the Ministry of Transport, Egged and would offer passengers a variety of new possibilities to travel more comfortably and efficiently.
New Route No.959 Tiberias – Jerusalem via Afula:
- Extended to run until late at night
- Higher-than-usual frequency of service
- Throughout the day buses will run according to No.442 and 953 routes
- No transfer needs in Afula
- More stops in Tiberias
Improvements in bus line No.840 Kiryat Shmona – Tel Aviv via Tiberias, Afula and coastal highway:
- Extended to run until late at night.
- Throughout the day buses will run according to No. 825, 541 routes
- No transfer needs to be done in Afula
- Buses will not enter Hadera
- Higher-than-usual frequency of service at nights
