Bus driver’s license  - D license

To get started, all you need to do is meet the following requirements:

✔ Age 21 or older

✔ Valid private car driving license (B) with at least two years’ experience

✔ No criminal record

 Three steps – and you’re in the driving seat for a new career

 🚦 Step 1 - Submit documents

• Submit an online green form via the Ministry of Transport website (RSL- 18 Green Form)

• A sight test - Click here for the list of eye exam locations

• Presenting a valid private driver's license (minimum of two years)

📚 Step 2 - Theory studies

• A concentrated course of about 148 academic hours

• Morning studies – about a month I Evening studies – about 2½ months

• The course curriculum includes: transportation, safety, transporting children, first aid, geography of Israel, the human factor and more

• At the end of the course:  a graduation certificate from the Ministry of Economy 

🚍 Step 3 - Practical driving studies

• Practical driving lessons on a bus (20–40 lessons, depending on previous license type)

• Practical licensing test from the Ministry of Transport

• Obtaining a public driver's license (D) – and starting work

Work in varied shifts – morning, afternoon and evening – including alternate weekends (Friday or Saturday, depending on the requirements of the system).
